ART·spiration: Winslow Homer

How fantastic are Winslow Homer’s landscapes? 

Homer, who was born today in 1910, was considered one of one of the foremost painters in 19th-century America. Throughout his lifetime, Homer created over 400 paintings, focusing mostly on the marine seaside.

His work is house in some of the most prestigious museums in the country, including the National Gallery of Art and Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington DC as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
