ART·spiration: Edward Weston

Today we are inspired by the images of Edward Weston, who was born today in 1886.

Weston photographed over the course of his 40-year career Weston photographed everything from landscapes, still lifes, nudes, and portraits. Weston was a monumental figure in American photography; he was the first photographer to receive a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1937.

We are in love with his images for his unique perspective on everyday life, and his use of light.
