  • In 2006, a fossilized species of Archosaur was named after Georgia O'Keeffe. The specimen was named Effigia okeeffeae ("O'Keeffe's Ghost") in honor of Georgia O'Keeffe and her numerous paintings of the badlands at Ghost Ranch.
  • In the 1940’s Magritte supported himself through the production of fake Picassos, Braques and Chiricos. He was later to expanded into the printing of forged banknotes.
