This is the last weekend to catch The Blanton Museum’s exhibit Impressionism and the Caribbean: Francisco Oller and His Transatlantic World. If you happen to be in town, it isn’t something you want to miss!
Originally organized by the Brooklyn Museum the show has approximately eighty paintings by Realist-Impressionist painter Francisco Oller and his contemporaries.
Arguably one of the most important transatlantic painters of his day, Oller was crucial in bringing impressionism to the Caribbean. His rich and historically driven landscapes are incredibly impressive and definitely have our creative juices going this week!
