Following an extensive renovation, Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa—an iconic Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five Diamond resort in Carlsbad, CA—reopened, offering 327 newly redesigned guest rooms and suites with world-class recreation. The resort’s surrounding natural landscape influenced not only the design of the interiors but also the art collection for the courtyard, guest rooms, lobby, specialty restaurant, and meeting and event spaces. Eaton Fine Art curated an art collection, in collaboration with the award-winning interior design studio Wimberly Interiors and Ownership, that connects guests to nature.

Eaton Fine Art also collaborated with selected artists from Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Diego, and Los Angeles, as well as other parts of California and across the nation. Each piece offers a subtle yet thoughtful connection to the resort's environment and wildlife, including its local birds. The guest rooms, for example, feature a modern wall art collection that abstractly references the stately Great Blue Heron soaring in flight. Public spaces showcase art pieces with abstract views of rippling and flowing water, while others reference the elegant curve of a wading bird’s neck or the suggestion of its wing as it takes flight.

The art collection achieves a refined, elevated, and casually elegant aesthetic in the guest rooms and public spaces.
